Refund policy

Now the boring stuff!
I accept payments through the following payment gateways.
Paypal Express Checkout
Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe)
Please contact these providers directly for their terms of use.
I also accept payments in person for local pick up and have card services available please let me know if you would like this.

Shipping Info
I use Australia Post for shipping. Unfortunately we sometimes have a glitch in the system. If you feel your parcel is taking an unusual amount of time to arrive please contact me to see what we can do.
Australia Post has a few rules for us all to work within.

If a Domestic parcel has Not been scanned as delivered then I can log an enquiry and let you know the case number.

When a Domestic parcel has been scanned as delivered but you have not received it then You will log an enquiry and let me know the we can both look into it from both ends.

Unfortunately sometimes things happen which we cant control and misplaces occur. If this happens please contact me to see what we can do together.

Shop Return Policy
If you have an issue with your items I hope you contact me promptly to see what we can do together.

As usual you will be protected under the Australian Consumer Law and will be entitled to a refund or repair or replacement if your lovely items are not as I described or not fit for the purpose you intended. Sadly, I can not, issue a refund if you have simple changed your mind. I would recommend contacting me here for more information if you are unsure about any of my fibres and products.

Other good to know stuff!

I do my best to make sure the photo's are a good representation of the colours of the fibres and yarns but sometimes colours will shift a little on different screens.

I hand dye my fibres and yarns and sometimes there will be a slight difference in the colours from one pack to another even though they were dyed all at the same time. This is quite normal and is one of the reasons that hand dyed fibres are so very unique. This slight variation is not a fault but a feature!

Mill spun yarns from time to have a join in them. I always try to find these so I can let you know in the listing. Sometimes they may slip though the net. If you get a skein with multiple joins which will affect you project please let me know.

Returns
If 7 days have passed by since your order has arrived, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back before you have contacted us.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
