Dyeing up a storm this week...

After an intense week of production, I dove straight into an extensive dyeing marathon this week. I'm relieved it's nearly complete!

Each day brought a full schedule of dyeing work across multiple fibre types. I've been processing batches of hand-dyed Merino wool tops, alongside substantial quantities of Mulberry silk cocoon sheets and Mulberry silk throwster waste fibre. These materials remain consistently popular, so maintaining colour stock levels is essential to meet your requests.

The Mulberry silk throwster fibre is now packaged, photographed, and ready for listing. Mulberry silk accepts dye beautifully, and the resulting vibrant colour hues are genuinely exciting to select and layer. My approach typically involves combining three colours in each batch—this creates subtle colour transitions where the dyes blend and interact, producing a rich palette that's ideal for blending and incorporating into finished pieces.
