4 Ply Pure Australian Merino Wool Yarn Hand Dyed Baroness

Baroness is a lovely tonal combination of dusty grey purples into mushrooms with enough variation and a few light speckles within the hanks to add interest when knitted.

This tonal colourway will knit into a lovely fabric for a very special next to skin shawl or scarf.

Pure wool is perfect for those special knits where something extra special is needed. This yarn is perfect for any next to skin project like scarves, shawls, beanies and gloves etc..

A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn.

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions

Cool hand wash with an approved wool wash, roll in a towel, very gently spin, dry flat in the shade. Do not agitate,
