4 Ply Pure Australian Merino Wool Yarn Hand Dyed Cocoa

Cocoa is a lovely warm soft brown with pink undertones. This is a lovely and versatile colour suitable for adding interest and colour changes in your project.

Pure merino wool is a delight to knit with, use it for special knits that will sit on the skin like shawls, scarves, beanies and gloves. 

A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn.

• 100% Australian Fleece Yarn.
• 19.5 microns, long staple,
• Worsted spun.
• Hand Dyed
• Suitable for knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, crafts etc. 

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions

Cool hand wash with an approved wool wash, roll in a towel, very gently spin, dry flat in the shade. Do not agitate,
