4 Ply Supreme Sock Yarn Hand Dyed in Purple Quartz 13425

Purple Quarts is hand dyed a combination of purples, aubergine and dusty lavenders. Speckles of blending colours add variety and interest to the skeins.

Lovely co ordinating colours will allow you to knit this delicious colour way into something very special. These skeins may show more crimson pink than they are.

This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next to skin project (scarves, jumpers etc) as well as items where a little more durability is required such as socks and gloves. 

Superwash yarn can be gently washed in the washing machine but most people will hand wash it with an approved wool wash separately at first.

• 85% Super-wash Australian Merino 19.5 micron + 15% Nylon Yarn

The fine Australian merino wool makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. A little nylon is added for extra durability.

The main factor determining the quality of Australian merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. The use of fine merino (19.5 microns) which is some of the finest commercially available results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.

Care Instructions

All of my yarns are hand dyed by me using Australian made dyes. Please wash separately for the first wash just to be sure and remove any excess dye that may still be hanging in there. Hand dyed skeins can vary from skein to skein. I recommend buying enough to finish your project and alternating the skeins or rows.
