Blackberry is in shades of plum charcoal and reds wandering into a beautiful combination, I cant wait to see this one knitted up! This subtle one is perfect for an elegant fast knit to warm up a winter day.
Beautiful and soft, pure Australian merino wool, with no superwash or nylon this will knit, crochet, weave or felt into a fantastic project like a shawl, beanie, scarf etc. there are a limited range of colours and skeins available.
This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.
Yarn Base Details

- No Superwash
- Untreated, Sustainable, Non Mulesed
- Superfine Australian Wool Yarn.
- 19.5 microns, long staple,
- Worsted spun.
- Random dyed
- 8 Ply DK Weight (approx. 4/9nm)
Please know that I take care with my photos but sometimes there may be a slight difference on screens. I also take care with my dyeing but as with all hand dyed fibres there may be a little variation in the shades throughout the batches and hanks. This is quite normal.
Recommended Needle Size
Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 4mm (US 6) needles
To care for your yarns
Cool hand wash in an approved wool wash. Do not wring or agitate. Dry flat in the shade.
When using more than one hank I recommend alternating hanks
This is a hand dyed item and may vary from hank to hank.
