8 Ply Pure Merino Wool Yarn - Pink Dust 12894

This 8 ply pure Australian Merino wool yarn ticks all the boxes!

In softer shades of pinks pale brown, patches of white and splashes of charcoal, this would knit beautifully into a scarf, cowl or beanie to match the neutral tones perfectly. This pretty colour is perfect for a fun fast knit to warm you up on a winter day.

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Yarn Base Details

• 225m per 100g hank 
• Untreated, Sustainable, Non Mulesed
• 19.5 microns, long staple,
• Worsted spun. 
• Random dyed
• 8 Ply DK Weight (approx. 4/9nm)

A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 4mm (US 6) needles

To care for your yarns

Cool hand wash in an approved wool wash. Do not wring or agitate. Dry flat in the shade. 

This is a hand dyed item and may vary slightly from skein to skein. I recommend alternating skeins.
