This beautiful New Zealand Corriedale wool sliver roving has a lovely crimp which is springy and easy to spin or felt with. You will be able to spin a beautiful fine to medium woollen, worsted or semi-worsted yarn with good elasticity for a large range of projects including beanies, mittens, jumpers. You will find it is also suitable for both wet felting and needle felting making Corriedale wool great for harder wearing felted items like hats and bags etc. Corriedale wool is a long silky fibre that comes from some of the top wool growers in New Zealand

Possible Uses

Great for a quick spin, you will find this wool has a springy soft feel giving a bouncy hand spun yarn that is soft and easy for knitting, crochet, weaving or felting with.

You can use beautiful Corriedale roving for wet felting, needle felting, nuno felting, spinning, dyeing, carding and blending to make beautiful art batts or weaving projects. A stronger fibre than my Merino, this wool is suited to outerwear and harder wearing items. It is also beautiful in lace weight spinning.

As with all hand dyed and hand made items please wash in cool water with an approved wool wash.
