Hand spun black Tasmanian Merino wool chunky art yarn with hand dyed English Leicester lamb locks, Mulberry silk and Firestar fibre an original and unique artisan hand made yarn.

This yarn is hand dyed and hand spun with lots of texture and includes hand dyed English Leicester lamb locks and mulberry silk fibres. It is beautifully soft and will knit it into a Scarf or neck wrap with some other yarns to really get the best out of it. 

Suitable for weaving, this would really make a wall hanging pop! At 184 grams and 89 Mt it will be well worth knitting or adding into a lovely scarf.

Recommended Needle Size

Large needles recommended. Gauge swatch is suggested but not essential. I usually start with needles around the same diameter as the yarn and work from there.

Care Instructions

Hand wash as a delicate item in cool water with an approved wool wash. Roll in a towel and very gently spin. Dry flat.
