Handspun Chunky Tasmanian Merino Yarn in Cornfield 13314

This is a beautiful hand spun chunky Tasmanian merino wool yarn, Core spun and plied it with white cotton thread in shades of yellow, steel blues and soft lavender.

This one is a short skein at 25 Mt and would make a pretty addition to a textured scarf or beanie and would work well for weaving.

These great yarns can be used for lots of different projects including weaving, macrame, dolls hair, felting and many other textile and fibre art projects.

I use my undyed sustainable Superwash Tasmanian Merino wool tops in this soft squishy thick & thin yarn.

Knit it into a next to skin soft neck wrap or cowl, pop on a couple of those gorgeous  buttons from the stash and off you go in no time!

Remember to keep the pattern to a minimum and let the texture do the talking for you.

Needle Sizes and Care

Needle size can vary depending on the finished look and drape required. Usually I start with about size 9 mm swatch and work from there.

Cool hand wash do not agitate, this yarn will felt.
