Line Dance MKAL - Yarn Kit

The Line Dance MKAL cowl was designed to play with colour and lines in all different ways! It uses easy stitches in unique ways that will result in a fun design that keeps you guessing. 

Let’s kick up our heels and cast on a little bit of excitement! This bandana-style mystery cowl is unlike any you’ve knit before. Almost all of the stitches are simple, yet they come together in unique and surprising ways to keep you guessing until the very end. Lines of colour and texture will dance across your needles as you create this happy new addition to your wardrobe. The clues are relatively short and easy to work, making this a quick project to add to your queue.

This one is considered it to be an intermediate pattern due to the construction, but there are video tutorials and support chats to guide adventurous beginners through the challenges.

This design uses 8 mini-skeins of fingering weight yarn. There are lots of options when it comes to colours, but Its highly recommend solids or semi-solids for this design.

Here is the yardage of fingering weight yarn used in the sample, with an additional 15% cushion. 

C1: 107 yds / 97 m dark colour ***After C5, this is the second most prominent colour. Be sure it works well with C5.***

C2: 101 yds / 92 m dark neutral

C3: 90 yds / 82 m mid-tone colour

C4: 89 yds / 81 m light neutral

C5: 116 yds / 106 m light colour ***This colour will be featured prominently. The other colours should be chosen to work with C5.***

Of course you can make up your own kits and select the colours you love from my mini skeins. Just be sure to get enough of each colour.
