Rainbow Beehive Coil Hand Spun Art Yarn

Rainbow beehive coiled art yarn hand spun in Tasmanian grown and dyed superfine merino wool. 

These skeins have been plied with different coloured silk yarn that give each skein a subtle difference in colour that is hard to pick up in the images. 

This yarn is as beautiful to handle as it is to look at and simply adore!

Spun from my superfine 18.5 micron Tasmanian grown Merino wool tops after they have been carefully hand dyed in rainbow shades.

Next to skin softness and amazing colours they will knit into a beautiful short scarf or neck wrap or beanie.

To make this pretty yarn go further, combine it with some other matching yarns and knit it into the alternate rows.

These limited skeins will not last long! Even though they look bulky these yarns will usually knit with out any trouble. More of my hand spun yarn can be found here

Spun as a standard 2 ply thick and thin construction, plied with a strong hand dyed silk thread.

Caring for your yarn

My yarns and fibres are hand dyed by me using Australian made colour fast dyes. 

Cool hand wash in an approved mild wool wash gentle spin in a towel dry flat in the shade. This yarn may felt.
