Beehive Super Coiled Art Yarn Hand Spun in Purple Opals 13135

Beehive Super Coiled Art Yarn Hand Spun in Purple Opals is a beautiful yarn. Its colours are drifting in and out and blend with ease. I have left some extra twist in this short 14 mt yarn because a lot of times these yarns are made into things like neck pieces which work well with some residual twist remaining.

Spun from my superfine 18.5 micron Tasmanian grown Merino wool tops after they have been carefully hand dyed in these soft pastel shades. This yarn has been spun as a thick and thin single then coiled and wrapped around a strong core yarn so the 'coils' will develop. this is a firmly spun yarn.

Caring for your yarn

My yarns and fibres are hand dyed by me using Australian made colour fast dyes. 

Cool hand wash in an approved mild wool wash gentle spin in a towel dry flat in the shade. This yarn may felt.
