Superkid Mohair & Silk Hand Dyed Raspberry Syrup
Superkid Mohair & Silk Hand Dyed Raspberry Syrup
7 in stock
Raspberry Syrup is definitely not for the faint hearted! Its one of the boldest colourways I dye and it a very strong crimson pink, but wouldn't it just sing in the right project :)
With a little soft light and shade in some skeins this is a stunning colour!
Perfect to use as a carry along thread for special projects. Use it with my 4 ply fingering sock or Pure merino. Or make some of my 8 Ply superwash merino into a thicker weight yarn (swatch please!) for a really warm snuggly feel
This lace weight yarn with the softer and rarer Superkid mohair is used to produce this soft and luxurious mohair/silk yarn.
Two strands of mulberry silk hold the mohair fibres in place to add radiance and strength. Gentle enough for next to skin wear.
With 72% Superkid Mohair and 28% Mulberry Silk this is the perfect yarn for a carry along yarn or for those very delicate knits.

Caring for your yarns
These are delicate yarns, strong but very fine. I recommend a delicate wool wash and hand washing in cool water. The fibres may flatten when washed and can be carefully fluffed to restore the halo.
