4 Ply Supreme Sock Yarn Hand Dyed in Blackberry

Blackberry is hand dyed a red, dark plums and deep reds and charcoal with plenty of gorgeous colour blending and light and dark in between shades.  Lovely co ordinating colours will allow you to knit this delicious colour way into something very special.

This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next to skin project (scarves, jumpers etc) as well as items where a little more durability is required such as socks and gloves. 

Superwash yarn can be gently washed in the washing machine but most people will hand wash it with an approved wool wash separately at first.

The fine Australian merino wool makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. A little nylon is added for extra durability.

The main factor determining the quality of Australian merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. The use of fine merino (19.5 microns) which is some of the finest commercially available results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.

 Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needle

28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions

Hand dyed skeins can vary from skein to skein. I recommend buying enough to finish your project and alternating the skeins or rows.

Please hand wash separately.
