Fig Leaf on our brushed Suri Alpaca Silk lace weight yarn is a lovely semi solid wich shows the lovely variations within the hanks. Perfect for a carry along yarn to give a beautiful halo to your knitting.

Brushed Suri Alpaca and silk yarns are super soft and very gentle on the skin. These lace weight yarns are ideal for those who are not comfortable with Mohair.

Lustrous, smooth and soft, baby Suri alpaca is wrapped around a silk core then brushed to create a super soft 2ply yarn with a light, airy halo. This yarn is wonderfully versatile, knit it solo across a range of needle sizes, or layer it with fingering or DK weight yarns to add warmth and subtle texture to jumpers, scarves and cowls without the bulk.

Brushed yarns naturally shed more than others due to loose production fibres, so some shedding is normal and expected with this style.

Needle Size: 3–6mm (US 2.5–10) needles and D–J hook Gauge (stocking stitch): 18–25 sts over 10cm/4 inches

Hand wash using wool detergent below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat away from direct sunlight; do not spin or tumble dry.
